A new world for a new generation
Gournadi Blood Donors Club is a non-political, non-profit volunteer group in Gournadi, Barishal. When someone in our area needs blood, we find a matching donor and get them to the hospital, free of charge.
Members of GBDC, each just after giving blood.
So far our volunteers have given 5,000+ bags of blood, built a list of 800+ active donors and run 200+ donation camps.
- We serve everyone, regardless of caste or religion, and stay out of politics.
- We stand beside poor and helpless people who need blood, and ask nothing in return.
- We help people lose their fear of giving blood, so that donating becomes normal.
- We run regular camps that test blood groups for free.
- We make sure every pregnant mother has at least two donors ready.
- We raise awareness about thalassemia and how to prevent it.
